Water Baptism

Why water baptism?

We read in Galatians 3:27:

“For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”

Water baptism will not save anyone, only accepting Jesus Christ can do that. However, water baptism is symbolic of the death and resurrection that Christ experienced for us. It is a reflection of the change in one’s life when they receive Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. The old person is buried into the water and the transformed person is resurrected from the water. It is physical evidence of one’s desire to be found in Christ.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and have never been baptized, or were baptized at a time when you did not understand its meaning, please register to be baptized. We hope you will see this as the next step on the most important journey of your life…to know Christ as he wants to be known.
